This weekend course is based on Claudia's PhD research and 15 years of inpatient post-stroke care. Historical and contemporary Chinese and Western background are presented, along with a practical manual for clinical decision-making during acute and chronic stroke care.  Also included is a section on stroke prevention and risk factors, as well as financial and logistical practicalities of caring for stroke patients in the outpatient clinic setting. Students will also have the opportunity to stay for an additional day of inpatient care following Claudia and her team.
