menobundance: From surviving to thriving

Women embracing

March 22-25, 2024 - Seattle, WA @ Bastyr University

Friday afternoon through Monday morning, 17 NCCAOM PDA points

This experiential retreat is for multiple stakeholders in the self-cultivation and clinical care space: patients of peri- or post-menopausal age, body/energy/health workers, and acupuncturists (many of us intersect categories here). We will explore East Asian medicine as an intuitive and practical user’s manual for the human body in general and as a powerful toolbox for cultivating physical and emotional well-being through the menopausal transition.

Menopause is shockingly poorly addressed in many primary healthcare settings: hot flashes and hormone replacement are often the sole discussions around this complex physical, emotional, and social transition. The core of this weekend’s work is learning and applying a functional, integrative model for understanding, prioritizing, and addressing barriers and facilitators to enjoying this time spent in our human bodies.

Early bird pricing Through 1/15/24 - $600

$660 thereafter. Rooms are available at Bastyr University for an additional $60 per night and will be coordinated directly via Bastyr staff leading up to the event. Housing does not include meals. More information on food options coming soon…
